Very impressive. Is there some kind of search function as in Kazaa?
I checked out the Pinned Klf Musicworld New release list.
It seems I have to reveal my real age here. I feel like granny (45y) here.
I am most of all interested in pop and rock history - and in complete discographies.
I'm looking for old stuff, at the moment artists who started their career in the 50s or 60s!
I'm have no doubt I can find some of this music on Soulseek - but unless there are many members like me there, I doubt I'll find absolutely EVERYTHING.
Yes, there is a Search Function, and undoubtedly it will bring you many of the results you are looking for.

A granny - at 45 years of age.......not even close! There are plenty of us 'older folks' around, so come and join us!

Complete Discographies - Not a problem. With the search function, you will be able to check-off most of the items on those discographies you are working on. You could print out the complete discography from allmusic.com, and work your way through it.

Artists who started their careers in the 50's and 60's - that's not too long ago. You will have no problems with SoulSeek finding more than you could ever listen to in those eras.

And lastly, I am positive there are many, many users like yourself using SoulSeek.

Join in and go to the KLF MusicWorld room. Plenty of eager folks waiting to help you get started.

All has been said now, just try it SyrinxGC

Only thing is... SoulSeek is not the fastest way to get your files, it depends on the uploadspeed the user has you d/l from, that could be real fast or real slow. But whats the hurry? If prefer quality over speed.

No offence but if you really are a serious collector and a proffessional, then why use KL? You usualy get low bitrates [128k] & the tracks come from different rippers, different encoders etc etc.

Check out SoulSeek [look at the pinned thread]
I dont have anything reasonable to add so I just back you up, correct as always Linda. B) [/b][/quote]
Yeah.....I would like to back that ASS up also.
