The RIAA has massive server farms dedicated to corrupting MP3s on Kazaa.
They even admit it...
This is ALL the more reason to BLOCK RIAA hostile ips in KL++ AND keep that blocklist up-to-date!
Also, IF you're sharing music, disable browse host which lets others list all your shared files.
ALSO, you can avoid many Kazaa scanners just by blocking KL++ access on port 1214 and running on an alternate port.

Sadly ... yes
Frustration and anger usually does that, so i haven't been a regular at the forums, but i've been sharing files for a very long time ( for about 3-4yrs ) i used to run Napster ( oh the good times ), then Bearshare( OMG ). But then i found down the road eDonkey and reg KazAa ( eeeww ),and i was running those in 2 separate PC's, and then came KaZAa Lite ( a god send ), so i've been in this " racket " for quite sometime, so forgive me if i am way too pissed off that i didn't want to do a search on the forums or even check to see if this has been talked about, BUT i would like to THANK those that have given me a useful answer ... instead of the quoted answer above
