I has, they is being mean to me
Ah well, we can potentially do the 15th then. It's just after RF's 56th birthday
It seems them rights don't really do all that much for teh ladies with the childs.
It seems turning down a a flexible hours request for part time work on the grounds of it not fitting business requirements is perfectly valid. Even if the person who did the job before me only worked part time.
It also seems it is perfectly ok to announce redundancies and then request said lady with teh child to work hours she can't possibly adhere to due to nursery opening times. It seems getting rid of an extra person that way to cut cost is acceptable
It seems bastard companies get away with fucking murder.

They're not changing my hours, they are wanting me to do the exact same as before and stick to a shift pattern between 8Am and 5.30 PM. Problem is; nursery hours are between 8 and 6 and I live a 45 minute drive away.
I know about constructive dismissal but what I've read about it, it seems rather difficult to prove. On top of that, I am already in the last 3 months of my mat leave so I don't get paid anymore, so unless JP is going to offer me his epic lawyering skills, I don't know how to afford taking the thing to a tribunal.
