Except that the mortality rate is much higher in age groups what normally take it in their stride. This is bad cos a) it means that we can't focus just on the regular risk groups, and b) it has the potential to take out a small percentage of our workforce permanently, and a larger percentage short term.Originally Posted by JPaul

In somewhat related news, we have some scottish pregnant lady with swine flu over here now, in a respirator. Apparently you lot have run out of places with the machines that oxygenate blood outside of the body, so they sent her here.

Over here in Engurland they're giving away Tamiflu to people that phone a hotline and tell them they have a warm head. If they phoned me I would send them a box of flu in return, bunch of pansies.
