    Question Mark

    Hi,

I have installed on a HDD with two partitions windows XP Professional (C: ) and Windows 7 (W: ) . I want to format C: to do a clean reinstall of my XP since it crashed. Can I do that from Comand Promt in Windows 7 ?

I tried to but I get this message: "System Partition is not allowed to be formatted"

    Thanks

Since youre reinstalling XP you could always use the XP installation CD to format Drive (C: ).when it asks which partition you want to use for the installation just format the XP partition and continue with the install.
