he is an exception to every rule
Even George Bush isn't an exception to the rule. Let's give an example.
Track 1: Generic Boob boob boop tut beep drum beat all the way through
Track 2: synth 1 going da da da da dad da da da da da doooo dad da da
track 3 synth 2 (nothing until 4 bars in) plays synth notes usualy 16ths in tripplets, a lot of octaves going on.
track 4: 16 bars later, picks up a really cheesy bit to get louder for 4 bars, then song resets
repeat till end of song.
get an attractive, bad singer female... hey you've got a number one hit!
where's the strongbad link?
the techno one, it's brilliant...

Sure, there is a lot of crap out there but every once in a while something brilliant comes along.
The rest of the time, it is crap, but I would certainly not categorize the entire genre as worthless.
hahah, that is excellent. I liked his rock guitar one too.
I am not a fan of dance, as you may have well guessed. I do think when the "dance" music has things such as trumpets, sax, double bass, guitars, piano and some synths in there and drum kit, with various other drums and someone mixing, then you can get some good creations. the stuff just done on the computer, i find (personally, don't flame) terrible. I better get more open minded, for my brother in law to be is getting some record deal and he does all this dance what-nots. I would admit, his stuff is musical, nothing like what you hear in the charts, nothing at all.
Come on. I mean check out The Prodigy's early stuff. Pure genius.
Yeah anyone can press a few buttons.
But cant anyone pluck a few strings with one hand while placing their fingers in set locations with the other? Or press a few keys? Or bang a stick against a streched piece of plastic, leather, sythetic material thingy?
Anyone can do it. Its how its done that makes it a hit or miss.
So what your saying is that to appreciate the music, you must first ingest a bin liner full of pharmaceuticals?have you ever been off your tits in a rave, well until you tried it you should not slagg off the people that make the music for it.
Doesn't really say a lot about the music does it?
Yeah, but wouldn't mind going to a party
