    I was an XP fan until the bloody thing decided it wouldn't detect my ethernet card.
    I then moved to 7, and it wasn't too fond of my blu-ray drive.
    Now stuck on Vista.

    /end rant

    Now to answer the question, my favorite OS is definitely XP.

    So you change your OS just because do not find a driver?
    Pretty silly.
    Just launch a full Slackware-12.2 (iso dvd) install and you won't have to face any struggle with drivers and such ;-)
