Thread: Best Cd To Mp3 Ripper

    For some reason, EAC wont recognise my CD drive so i need an alternative for making high quality mp3 files. Anyone know any other progs?

    I use FreeRip
    Works great for placing in folders, tagging, and names files so well!

    I have been using CDEX for ages now and I have never had any trouble with it. Its very easy to use and works great and it is to freeware.

    It&#39;s really not what you rip it with that matters so much...it&#39;s your encoder that&#39;s important.
    EAC just rips in a super Secure mode that vitually guarantees no skips or other weird shit in your tracks.
    What you can do is check, in whatever ripper you use, to see if there&#39;s an option to specify an external encoder.
    Then you can just use the Lame executable.

    EAC I used to use but ppl complained about my VBR
