Thank you for the advice everyone. I am going to take the advice, I will stick with piratebay for a couple of weeks, and I will definately take a look and see what I can get from demonoid right now. When I am allowed, I will post in the reqest site. Thank you very much to those that seemed open to discussing invites at that time.
It took a bit of back and forth before I posted this request in the first place since I did not want it to come across as a thinly veiled attempt to secure an invite, I wanted suggestions from those with a little more experience in this than I have, which is exactly what I got.
Much appreciated

^^ Nice op, and I was pleased to see no flaming or put-downs. It looks like megebytme's offer of help should give you a decent start on a site or two, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
Since it sounds like you're hooked up in that regard, no need to speak further to your individual request; but in case other's have a similar question I agree with the above suggestions: Demonoid, TL - both good choices. To the list I'd add RevTT. To bad you missed it be a few days - they just had open signup. It's a nice site with that variety you're looking for.
What makes torrenting particularly fun though, is seeing those decent speeds and getting your file in minutes not daysIn that regard, Demonoid - as much as it's a favourite of mine for nastolgic reasons, is slower than slow. TL and RevTT shouldn't disappoint overall.
Cheers

My 2 gig Total War demonoid torrent is taking a whole day to download![]()
I like to use Demonoid as my backup search, or when it's something I'm in no hurry to get, like a couple Total War games. I would hate to wait for The Office or something from demonoid when I could get it in like 15 minutes from TL.
Amashinga you might give zamunda a try.The speeds on average are a lot better than Demonoid and it has just as many movies. It fact if I have no luck on other trackers I usually find want I want there.
The downside is that it's Bulgarian and although you can set the default language to English you are still going to be spending some time at google translate.
torrentbytes and demonoid Is what I think would be best. For new stuff use TB and for everything else use demonoid.
I'm in the same situation as you, and I recommend signing up for more than a few to start with. I've been on some specialty torrent sites like bitme for a few years, but always used newsgroups or public trackers because the seeding was such a pain with a bad upstream. Cox, though, has come a long way, and I've been able to get a much higher upload rate in the last year or two, so I've gone almost completely private.
My suggestion for you is to use demonoid, just like the other posters, and I've found one site that I don't mind in terms of new release stuff for TV and movies, ilovetorrents. They don't have a huge flood of content, they're easy to seed, and most major stuff comes out pretty quickly. They're not a top rated site or anything, but its a good thing to get your feet wet with a less known/active site, because the most popular ones have REALLY STRICT rules, and the communities and staff are much less forgiving for mistakes, inactivity, etc.
I've found that personally, I am really starting to like specialty sites, like I just joined one that is dedicated to poker related stuff, and the depth of content there is striking when compared to a general tracker, so you may want to decide if you're interested in anything specifically and try to find a site for that type of content.
Good luck, and make sure that you really do read the rules on any site you join, its not like your typical accept this legal boilerplate contract, they really expect you to know and follow all the rules, and they're not happy if you break them! This goes for pretty much all private trackers.
