First game you ever pirated?

What was the first game you ever pirated?


For me I think it was Warcraft II.
A friend bought that game but didn't have a computer () so he basically left it at my house for a few weeks as I played it. Eventually he wanted it back so I offered another friend $5 to ask his dad to make a copy of it because I knew he dad had a cd burner. Well I picked it up the next day and the dad let me keep my $5. He also included a crack/no-cd patch and readme on the CD which was the first time I ever heard of those things.

I also got a copy of one of the earlier Need for Speed games from that friend but I can't remember if that was before or after getting Warcraft II.

I had the full game locked on a Doom CD. I found a way to unlock it. Sadly, I didn't bother to back it up and now can't unlock it anymore. lol

You just reminded me... Maybe doom was my first pirated game.
I remember installing it from a friend's disc and it worked without the cd. That doesn't really count as pirating though does it?

do pirating zx spectrum tapes counts as piracy? or only in the PC era ?

So if a zx spectrum tape is something that can hold a game then yes.
