Hiya,

today we will do the first "show" to test some things out. We will put up a banner to this forums that many people get attention.

Now some other things:

If you want to greet somebody then please record a mp3 with your greetings and send them to (dave AT the-lounge.us) . If you do it within the next 45 mins the chances are good that we play them today.

This post will also be the post for feedback / wishes etc.

I'll place the "listen now" link here in 43 minutes (thats the start time)

So all in one:

Start is more or less 50 minutes - thats 10 PM GMT +1 or 9 PM UK time (GMT)

Thanks for your attention and feel free to record and submit greetings in mp3 format

Quality, who's hosting?

Quality will be 56kbps / stereo (to allow modem users too).

Server is connected on a very fast connection which could handle serval 1000's of unique users without a problem. Since it's for the KL boards only we did set a limit of 150 for today but it's no problem to higher that

Don't get too excited people - This week's show is only a test show; there are some things you can't anticipate until you do it for real, which is why I'm doing it.

An IRC channel will also be set up on irc.p2pchat.net for the show as well as an email address for greetings - Details on how to contact them will be supplied on the show. Other than that, it'll be forum-style chatting v2 (from pointless text to pointless voices

) and mainly music from as many genres as I can get.

And as a special thanks for listening to the test show, I'll be announcing the identity of my special guest interviewee so you can send questions for said guest, ready for the interview next Saturday.
