What kind of movie files is it capable of using or combining?

You should at least give it a go, its great for joing 2/3 disc movies together and editing for file size purposes, its so easy to use.

as long as you have the proper codecs installed, it can edit any AVI file. if it's unable to edit a certain AVI file, it's usually because the file uses a really obscure oddball codec that you need to do some legwork to find a virtualdub-compatible decoder for.
