You can buy an s-vid adapter from argos or index or somewere that sells crap like that, maplins, anyway, it has two phono inputs for the sound, everyone else forgot that! so you need a soundcard lineout jackplug with two phono plugs on other end.
I would advise that you make sound lead yourself as its only three wires, one for each speaker and a common ground, shared between both, butcher an old pair of headphones and hifi seperate rca leads.
Would definately recommend that you go with svideo as the picture is best, better by far than composite, i use both, svideo into tv and composite into video for taping movies, sound is split between tv,hifi and video through diy junction box.
T.V. is in lounge which is 15-20 feet from computer which is in bedroom, so use cordless mouse and keyboard, not infrared but r/f 2.4ghz as the ones i use are on that freq and all work np while sitting on sofa.
good for games and films though need new T.V. as one now is just about feked.
Oh , svideo converter, bought one and produced b/w picture on t.v. , using svideo straght in was colour, not isolated, got threee different ones all same problem, still, converter also has composite to scart so alls not lost.
best of luck with graphics software, as ati's tv out controll panel is far easier than nvidia's ,i've tried both .
