the domain name is registered until 2017. who would prepay server costs for 8 years?

it's always been clear that the file*.org sites were just a moneymaker for their admin, with no regards to actually updating the site's code other than to add advertising. ffs, they don't even use a passkey system.

Eh file lists tracker has been dead for almost 2 months now, but the site has always been up like nothing has happend, and no news or anything on the frontpage, not even the mods or uploaders now whats going on there.

And fileporn it seems the domain expired and the admin didnt renew it since he is away, thats why its working with the ip but its kinda pointless when 99% of all users will think the fileporn.org adress is dead so

and i think the admins on filelist and porn are the same since they are away from the same date..
