    I remember if you edited your post within the first 30ish seconds, it wasn't marked as edited.

    That's not the case anymore, is it?

    the 30s delay before it is marked as edited was a good feature imo - editing posts sometimes give the impression you had something to hide while you just wanted to rectify a spelling error.

    Yes. The editing you do in the first 30 seconds are mostly spelling or grammar mistakes. Nothing interesting for the mods to read.
