    Ok my first post was a drunken rant ( best kind eh ) but tried to explain to a work mate how to disable Windows Defender in Win 7 . I like Malwarebits better .

    Told him how in six clicks , don;t believe me ? Vista is the same but ,

    Linux isn't that safe anymore, they just discovered bot-nets on Linux along with Mac, so there not invulnerable anymore
    Haha, I like how you used anymore.

    Have you seen how many vulnerability alerts come each day from RHN (red hat's official satellite channel) and that's just from the RHEL flavor.

    RHEL 5.4 (newest)

    each . reversion is because of security updates (which means publicly discovered holes) and packages updates

    It's just that most mainstream websites that will bash windows b/c of critical vulnerabilities know they won't get viewer hits if they publish a linux story of the same thing. Most people see linux as a black hole and therefore, they can't get ad revenue from the story and don't publish it (as often)
