depends on the source
if I pay for a better satilite recevier I can get 1080i cause I&#39;m not shelling out for hi def cable, they already take enough of my money
most tvs can;t handle more than 600 or so lor ( lines of resolution )
a vcr tape is around 240 lor
dvd is 540 lor
normale cable is around 300 lor

Sorry I didn&#39;t made myself clear. I wasn&#39;t talking about a home-cinema, but about a public cinema, the place you go when you say :"I&#39;m goin to the movies".
