I'm sure a lot of people will agree on that one: Jacques Chirac!

Now, you outside France may only know him for opposing the US/UK action in Irak, but he also is a liar and a crook, and his buddies in the present government are f**king up the country's economic and social life...

Ermm... I'd like to punch them too, if possible!

While I'm on the subject of French-speaking persons, I would like to say I find Jean Chretien worthy of at least a stiff left-jab (although I normally distain anything left-).

As re: Jeff Goldblum-

I met Laura Dern (really) while she was scouting an area near here for a film.

This was just "post-Goldblum" for her-fall of '95 or'96?

She was extraordinarily happy-looking.
