humm thanks
humm thanks
Thanks, this website is pretty cool, and they seem to have tv shows earlier than rlslog. Daily TV round up are pretty usefull aswell =)
They seem to use only storage.to though, do you guys think it is worth to get a premium account ?
PS: sorry for my english, and i'm new on this forum, so .. Hi ! =)
nah, I would go to usenet since the releases are there before the ddl, and you dont have to pay with IPv6
TV shows are usually posted within 5mins of pre (Usenet).
Just lurk on #a.b.teevee and you'll see.
Just went through my history and the last release that was posted (while the client was open) was:
[22:40] <@ABGod> Thank You [*Anonymous*] Request Filled! ReqId:[7759] [FULL Crisis.Claims.And.Cons.S01E06.WS.PDTV.XviD-watbath] Info:[Requested by:*Anonymous* 2m 29s ago Comments:0 Watchers:0] [Pred 3m 40s ago]
"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music"
Why not check this instead? (ps direct downlaod are worthless compared to Usenet, you can get 100GB download for like $5 or something similar at block news)....
http://www.orlydb.com/
Or even go to to EFNET: http://www.efnet.org/?module=servers
Join random server and join our channel? (they generally fill from private trackers, so torrents might get them sooner, but most of the time pre is less than 2 mintues after pre... and is mostly less than 5 mintues and is always less than 10 mintues....
#a.b.teevee
Then you will know the second they pre and once there filled you will know the instance their added to the indexed or filled, or you just grab them from IRC, here' a great IRC client to get you started.
http://www.kvirc.net/?id=download
RLSlog gets there shit quick, but it's a direct download, you will see them there, but less than 5 minutes later there on Usenet with max speed and no speed limit....

Here's another fast post:
[16:33:33] <@ABGod> Thank You [*Anonymous*] Request Filled! ReqId:[7865] [FULL The.Super.Hero.Squad.Show.S01E14.DSR.XviD-DVSKY] Info:[Requested by:*Anonymous* 1m 29s ago Comments:0 Watchers:0] [Pred 1m 23s ago]
Also note that it depends on the size, obviously a 720p rls is going to get posted slower than a xvid dsr.
@SoL: I prefer Usenet to p2p even if it's a few seconds slower than the hardcore 0day trackers. Nothing is worse than the ratio, politics, donating, insecurity on trackers.
"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music"
very good
I actually do check ORLY, however the appeal of a site like this one are the content descriptions/reviews and trailers.
the pre-times and whatnot don't really matter to me. does 10 min or even a day make that much of a difference? I'll download something when its up and enjoy it when I have time. It's similar checking the nzb index on this site, or somewhere else, imo
Also, I dont agree with your comment "ps direct downlaod are worthless compared to Usenet" - there is a lot of content available on ddl that you wouldn't find on usenet, and visa versa, so each has its own advantages
obviously rlsmix is not the best way to get scene content, but I've actually seen a few releases up on there that I couldn't find on usenet, and there is a lot of other material that I cannot find on usenet
sidenote - thanks for the link to the IRC client. Is it better than mIRC - thats the only one I've used
If you like Scene/DDL then look at AfterPre and SceneDDL.
I don't think I've ever seen a site like SceneDDL, even AfterPre is no fair comparison to it.
Sadly P2P releases are looked down upon when requesting on Usenet and most channels just delete the request: no p2p.
There are some decent p2p groups (mostly in x264). DEViSE/SecretMyth should get a special mention.
"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music"
I only like scene/ddl for content that not available on usenet, otherwise, what's the point?
It is true that there are good p2p releases that are not on usenet, but there are also a lot of of good releases in the ddl world, especially on forums, hd-united and hd-bb being some of my favorites
