Ratio was poor, had to upload around 70mb by today, didnt make it in time.

How long did you know you had to up 70 mb till you faced a ratio warning? That sucks. You probably could have done that within the day even on a crap connection with a popular file depending on the site.

You are new to the tracker, and downloaded a large torrent that have few leeches and little chance of being leeched, or that torrent have seeder that have faster connection than yours?
Most BT users have gone through that phase; I did and got the kick. Don't feel bad; just move on. And learn from that experience.

man, use a proper client, one of these two that are accepted everywhere: Vuze and utorrent.
If you were one month old and could accept PM's I could be able to help you getting into a excellent place for you.
