There's nothing wrong with the lounge .It's just like the bt section where the biggest assholes make the most noise.

For most people there is no difference, or they don't have the equipment to appreciate it. Never said FLAC was for everyone, I just proposed that as a method to see whether FLAC is for you

There are other reasons for its use as well (archiving, tons of spare disk space, burning 1:1 copies, etc).

I never said that you never said that FLAC was for everyone.I doesn't bother me if people want to have the best thing available.
I'm just happen to be happy with MPEG and XviD.
Actually I'm just happy to be in relatively good health , food on the table and a roof over my head.

that's a very irrational statement. everybody has their own personal opinion and maybe i was misinformed about e****. i am at btmusic and love it there but still find myself using what.cd and waffles more for flac.

that's what you get when you ask audiophiles to put their egos aside and present honest opinions.
Some couldn't even tell the difference at as low as 192kbps.
So sometimes its good to just listen to the music and enjoy it instead of listening to it for the sake of finding some forensic redundant errors.
