This is still a topic?
Those kids are now full grown adults and productive citizens. They have won dance championships and gold medals while you guys have been posting about sez. Even they would say, "let it go"...
Shhhh, don't mention sez, this is the new chat thread now!
I am sorry about the language but its absolutely unforgettable to insult someone's family on a public forum
@ megabyteme you are in my ignore list mate, ta-ra
@ Albo Da Kid
You can be forgiven for your naivety. You're new here.
However, I'd recommend some further reading as to how this section comports itself. This thread is still within its rooting stage.
If you think it's going away any time soonish, you truly are an optimistic individual. All the 'let it goes' in the universe aren't likely to change that.
Best to embrace it and see where it goes.
Fair enough Chalice. Had the target(s) of the thread been someone(s) I don't like I would not have said anything, ofc.
I have had my own RW battles and can respect a long, drawn out execution. I was successful in getting a disliked neighbor to sell his house and move. Also, all 5 of his roommates moved out in a single day. Crushing your enemies thoroughly is the only way to go, IMO. But there is a point where that enemy has surrendered that is typically enough. My enemy kept pushing. And pushing. He never said "sorry" before selling.
I suppose my post was similar to an impartial witness at a bar fight who steps in and says, "Alright, you've beaten him enough. Let him up."
I don't intend to join "the battle", but don't see what else can be said. After someone has been beaten and has said their mea culpa there has got to be a point of remedy.
But, like you said, I am new to "The Lounge". I recognize different cultures/communities have their own way of dealing with taboos. You guys seem to use a verrrry dull axe.
As for my "neighbor", I adopted a "zero tolerance" policy. That was, zero tolerance for his existence. Maybe we are not too dissimilar after all...![]()
There is no such thing as redemption in The Lounge.
