YES IT IS BUT THE LEADS FOR THE CONTROLLERS DONT HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY ROUND THE CONSOLE YOU IDIOT IF YOU LOOK IT GOES UNDERNEATH THE CONSOLE DURRR
From the front of my playstation to my couch it is 5 feet six inches. A playstation controller cord is six feet five inches. What do you figure the depth of this console is? I am gonna ball park it at about a foot. Give or take a few. Making the distance from my playstation to the very front edge of my couch 6 feet six inches (the distance from current PS to couch plus 1 foot for this distance over, under or around this thing)

Total distance from plug to couch = 6 feet and 6 inches
subtract total lenget of playstation cord 6 feet and 5 inches.

For you whom is so slow, that = -1 inch. Meaning that in order to play on this thing I would have to lean forward from the front of my couch atleast one inch at all times. I could not sit back, I could not even move off the corner of my couch. Therefore that is stupid. Get it, or do i need to simplify this for you somemore. To close I would like to say something that I have never said here to this day.

SHUT THE FUCK UP NOOB.

EDIT: I love those pics you posted aswell GRE1 [/b][/quote]
LOLZ. a playstation controller extension cord costs something like 5 bucks. problem solved.

anyone who'd be willing to spend several hundred dollars on a new gadget BUT NOT WILLING TO INVEST 5 DOLLARS IN A CORD FOR IT is a retard, imho.

does the PS2 have a DVI output? 'cause the PSX appears to be using one to connect to the flat panel TV, in those pics. just thinking that might also be one of the PSX's upgrades over PS2...

(or is that a VGA output... kinda hard to tell from the picture...)
I really don't know...

The point of my first post was that it was a problem. It should not be up to a consumer regardless of how easy a fixable one to have to fix it. It is an oversight that I had pointed out about the system design. This fella then decided to argue the fact that requires the length of the cord to be longer. Disproving that the point of the post that you quoted from me.

Aswell when cleaning Up I would want to disconnect those cords from the box, aswell as when I want to use my playstion controller on my PC. Then requiring me to reach in behind the damn thing to plug them back in. Given my set up that is not all that easy. There is many reasons why the controllers plugging in to the back is stupid but that was not the point.

I would never buy this nor any other console to begin with, it was just an observation on my part.

so...

... you just enjoy complaining about easily fixable problems that aren't your easily fixable problems? unique hobby, i guess...

edit: oh, and then there's this. a bit more expensive than an extension cord, but it's a much more elegant solution. http://www.madcatz.com/MadCatz/product_det...product_id=8256

oh yeah... i see what you're talking about, now. when it's lying flat, the cords are plugged into the back... but when it's standing on end, they're plugged into the bottom. it's simply a matter of which way you choose to position it.

I've already got a PS2. I might consider buying one of these, but only if the big TV and the lovely lady are included in the price .

IF you guys read you would see that I did say that in first post.

Oh wait they plug in the back dont they? That is the stupids thing ever, I guess if you ahve it standing up that is ok, but if it laying flat the cords will have to go all the way around. That would not then make it to my couch.
However now that I think about that it does not work either. If you have it standing on its end, the controlers have to plug into the end that is laying down. does your TV tower have a hole in the bottom for all the cords to come out of. I think that the majority of peoples does not. In order for it to work standing on its end it would have to be mounted onto something.

You two can continue saying whatever you want. Having the cords plug into the back/bottom does not make any sense.
