I wasn't picked - but then again, I mostly kept to myself. I think a lot of people from UK-t will fall into that category also. I can't speak for others, but being a member of UK-t since the fall of EliteTorrents sheltered us from this ongoing e-penis war over which torrent community is best. Goes to show that anyone on the internet will complain about anything given the proper forum and box to stand on.

I think you are absolutely right, but the hostility is from a small minority - they're just very vocal. The vast majority of members here just ignore them

Admittedly there Is a few whiners on FST, and we're all Inclined to talk shit from time to time.
But the regulars that frequent FST hang around the bushes.

Your site was/remains held in high regard and I think you guys should appreciate the fact that you have had over 40 pages of on topic relevant postings.This isn't usually the case.If guys decided to go stupid on you,then believe me,nipplecake wouldn't be here attacking people for quite frankly redundant reasons(and if anything,I think by doing this he's more than likely to instigate this all out flame war).

So apparently users who were active on the forums/irc were given invites.

Really bummed since all my torrent buddies only used ukt so they're unable to invite me to another site.

Sad to see the site go after so many years but I'm there they had good reason to shut it down.

I don't see why so many people here think of ukt members as elitist. I always thought of us as pretty humble with a pretty tight-knit community. But then again this is a public forum and those come with it's share of trolls.

BTW for anyone that's curious my u/n was 'stingaa'. been there since the beginning (user id was something in the low xxx range).
