Hello.
SneakyBastard is the name. I enjoy filesharing for the simple fact that I hate the laws and bull that this government forces on a community of others, as a whole. you people built the WWW back when it was called a BBS and the conglomerates stepped in and cashed out on a public ideal. Sharing is essential and should be constitutional.

Hi guys... never written into a newbie forum before.... but I joined in 2003 and never posted and never came back until today! Didn't even realise I was a member until I tried to register.
Things have changed. Now the law is everywhere and the men with mega millions are joining forces with crooked/brainless/conscienceless politicians and lawyers/judges to hound every individual on the planet that doesn't pay them their ripoff charges for music/videos and whatever.
i.e. it is getting dangerous to exchange things freely, I think. What do you think? Is it?
Is it dangerous joining forums like this? Where "they" might come and get the userlist and track us down and raid our homes and take our computers and smash our disks and freak out our families and invade our privacy, etc., etc.?
Is it dangerous to even visit a web page that talks about P2P or DVD copy?
What is happening on the scene?
It has much changed since 2003. Afterdawn has gone down, essentially, stripped of its valuable software.
That's why I've come back here. That's what's on my mind. I want to know how safe we are, what's going on, who's aware, who's got protection and advice for us.
I hope to find answers in these forums.
regards,
ab

Hi, I admit, I'm a noobie! Ended up here after "googling" for a Kurose's e-book that I can't found anywhere, hope I can find a lead to it here!
