Just dropping by to say hello to everyone. I'm going to try to be an active member, but I'm taking a good set of challenging classes this semester, so I'll need to balance my time. Cheers.

just joined . . . primarily to post a question . . . will do so here and in another appropriate location. . .
question: is it possible to secretly install a robot on someone's computer so that their computer acts as a file sharing conduit to another computer? I ask this not because I have any interest in doing so but rather because it seems to me if this is indeed possible, it would nullify any lawsuit brought by RIAA against a file sharer. If one can prove that the downloading was being done by another, there appears to be no way to prosecute one for copyright violation. Certainly, the prosecution must prove conscious intent on the part of the filesharer . . .
a question that has been working with me for some time. . . . any ideas? any suggestions as to where I might look for further information on this issue? I've googled "robot file share virus" but come up with nothing. . . .
In any case thanks in advance for a response.
