    been using tmpgenc to cut convert and cut avi files which is great. Which software is the BEST for burning onto cd? would it be nero? thanks alot for any help

    hi there !
    i use Nero 6 for every thing.
    it never lets me down on burning(and encoding) mpeg 1 and 2 video's.
    it won't do copyright stuff, if that's a demerit, it's the only one.

    yeah i agree nero 6 is what ud want to use

    i use VCDeasy, cos it puts the video into chapters for you, so you don't have to wear out fast forward button

    by the way did tmpgenc work well for cutting parts out of movies?

    tmpegenc does work, thoughanother great tool is "DVtool" its freeware, google it
