WB accs will be offered Regularly for free by Mr Wild here so i think it's fine at 3.5 atm

RP has deleted 80% of those who signed up lately and i guess it will be upped soon

i have a question.. for example for tp the ratings currently found in the review are:
Content 4/5 (considering the narrow scope of categories)
Speed 2.5/5
Rarity 4/5 (no invites)

(the following may be considered biased by many - so take it with a grain of salt if u will - though i have tried to be as emotionless and realistic as i can)

lets start with content, how does that value come... if it came from the exclusiveness of the material offered, then it shoudl def be a 5/5 since a lot of the material cant be found anywhere else on the internet (since tp buys it itself through group buys and there is no scene for these type of materials).. if it comes from the amount of torrents, it has 5k+ torrents, which is pretty damn high compared to other trackers which received a 5 ( also taking into account the narrow scope of categories)... if it comes from speed of release, well as soon as the product is released, it is bought, ripped and then posted... next the iso's follow (if its a dvd).... i d def give it a 5 in that category...

speed is set to 2.5.. again thats compared to what... on what basis was that done on ?... i can d/l with 1000kb/s and i max out my connection on every torrent... if thats a 2.5 then what is a 5? how many ppl actually have >1000kb/s download speed? i would def not give it anything more than 4.5, compared to say sct speeds, but a 3-3.5 in speed is defenetely realistic..

Rarity at this point should be a 5 since there is no way to get in the tracker as there are no invites and most ppl (if not all) arent willing to trade their accounts even for level 5 trackers....

additionally, i think u should add another rating which is kind of neglected... a community rating.. ie the usefulness of the forums, the whole vibe the community of a tracker gives, how crude/rude/polite/helpfull the staff are, how packed the irc channel/server is etc... for many ppl that is a very important factor indicating if a user will stick around and contribute to the site (in other ways other than just downloading and seeding)... a tracker to me isnt just about the files (u can get these of usenet in most cases).. it offers a community of likeminded individuals oriented around the theme of the tracker (That holds especially for dedicated trackers rather than general), so i believe such a rating should def be included when rating a tracker...

an example of that is inmo fsc... it has one of the nicest communities in a scene tracker, yet there is no rating for it... i would choose them over sct simply because of the feel i get for the community.... (if i had to choose

)

additionally, a history of rarity would be interesting to have, to keep track of what a tracker was in the past since many sites open signup for like a few weeks and then close them again, so i think its usefull for members to have a feel for how that value fluctuates be4 going into a trade (especially users new to the tracker scene)

finally, i think a sort of poll system should be put into place in order to judge each rating category (content,speed etc) so that everyone can vote what they think a tracker deserves and so the ratings are less biased towards what the author or a few posters think... this would give u the total amount of votes (which would determine the credibility of the result), a less biased result... in addition, u could have this poll system as a user rating side by side the rating done by this threads managers... this would give a more global, fairer view of what a tracker is like in all the aformentioned categories....
