What Trackers Are Worth [With Reviews and Ratings] Part 1

If ftn had given out invites to simple users and ftn members then we could say that it is easier to get an invite and thus it should go to level8.

But, invites were given again to FTN power+. That means at least 200GB upload and that means that they were given to members who already could request 1such invite every week.
So what's the big deal actually and why was the tracker degraded to level8 ?

Everyone thinks that there are 1000 ftn invites floating around and you just have to raise your hand and grab one for free.
I think that ftn invites are as rare as before.

I understand with every bit what U say...FTN aside. That site is great. But i think that one is a class of its own.
BTW I buffered my Torrentleech to 100 Giga last nite while "hypeing" Hungarian trackers. I think Torrentleech is underrated to a great deal - it should get a status like Level 4 or even 5. We should prioritize : for me pretime, and even more importantly, content counts more than rarity. Who gives a sad f...ck about rarity when I do not even want to join that rare tracker?

This rating system is crap. Who gives a shit about rarity when the top site is UK-T LOL! The only reason its up there is because the site decided to make it really hard to for people to join... But guess what, it doesn't mean its worth what the rating system says it is lol. That site still has crap staff, crap speeds, ordinary content comapred to many sites rated in 4-6. Same goes for a couple others rated right up there. To me, it just seems all a site has to do to be worth anything is make it hard to people to join, what a joke. I wonder how good ut-k would be if it wasnt tight on membership, id be rated like 4.
I wouldnt even swap a TL account with a buffer of 20gb for a uk-t account.

to me I think that FTN may go up to level 9 cuz everybody in invite trading section offering 2 buffered 8 level trackers for FTN invite ...
cuz nobody will give FTN invite 4 one sct invite or one swedvdr account
and as guys say invites give to FTN power only not everyone there ...

FTN userbase still hasn't reached 5000 after 24 hours, not many people want to use their invites and the reason is that people who got invites were already able to get invites by request, so this news is no big deal...

There are a few details in the current list I don't agree with and that I'd change:

Some highdef trackers (HDBits, HD-Bits.ro and BiT-HDTV) have the same rating of 7 - which doesn't make any sense because differences can be seen quite clearly. HDBits has the largest amount of seeding peers (57k, BiT-HDTV has 22k and HD-Bits.ro 5.5k) and has clearly the fastest downloads of all highdef trackers I've ever been on. HDBits has the largest amount of active torrents (7k, BiT-HDTV 5k and HD-Bits.ro 1.3k) with some of them seeded well even after 15+ months. Furthermore, HDBits is the home of some non-scene hd-groups that offer their own encodes in a usually (noticeable) better quality which is something I thrive for as a highdef-lover. Not that scene-stuff is a bad thing but those other trackers don't have these extra releases at all or at best provide them delayed. My suggestion for their ratings are HDBits [8], BiT-HDTV [7] and HD-Bits.ro [6].


There are also several trackers which are currently open to signups, so their listing in levels two or three don't fit: SCC, PWT, XWT, ST, TVTorrents, FileMP3 and maybe more I don't know about.


Trackers that aren't in the list but should be are FilePorn (because they're a decent alternative to the listed PussyTorrents and because its sister-site FileMP3 is already mentioned), NordicBits, SceneHD and maybe LeechersLair.
