i tried to restart the dns client by choosing repair on the network connection list in the control panel, and nothing happens.. i have tried for several times and its the same. this is the only way i know hoe to restart it. is there something else im missing or doing wrong, or some other way to do it? tnx![]()
I'm not sure whether sake meant restarting the "DNS Client" service or just "repairing" your connection, which is what you did. You can do the former via services.msc, if you want to try.
Another possible fix is using OpenDNS, see if that helps. Otherwise, you can add a hosts file entry for Zamunda. Also check whether your firewall (if any) isn't blocking the site for some reason.

well i did clear the dns cache, and restarted the dns service from the command line through the administrator mode and again- i cant get to zamunda.. i turned my firewall off and the same thing again. the other things u mentioned like via services, msc, adding a host i just dont know how to use thati just dont understand what the hell went wrong , im using zamunda on daily bases and i didnt made any changes

Check this out:

The entry to add would be:
Code:95.211.34.41 www.zamunda.net
"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
I suggested to do this. Now i don`t have any idea ... hmmm .. strange. I had the same problem with "windows.com". Did you try to open the site with different browsers? Which one are you using?
yeah i tried with google chrome mozilla explorer 8 and some others too
but nothing seems to be working, im using mozilla as default
im using xp if thats of any concern to the matter
