just plain awesome. the original is one of my most adored movies of all time. let's just hope this new fantasy can @ least live up to 1/2 of what the old version is.

From both trailers you can see how Hollywood has changed in the original the main focus is on the storyline and how he can get to be with his love.In the new one it emphasizes the special effects and the action scenes so I'm sure those will be top notch but as for the story itself you have no clue what it's about from the trailer

I must admit I'm looking forward to the re-make and hope they don't make a mess of it.

    The original was a classic.

Although Bobo was an annoying git!

i didn't think it was bad and clearly not as epic as the original, but perhaps it might be in 20-30 years for the children of today's film. i liked the scorpion fights and the way it progressed like an old 1980's film, but i think they coulda squeezed another 30-45 mins out of it to make it even better. it's good for a first time see even though it left out certain concepts that was implemented in the original. not a bad film and i'll watch it again. no blue people here, stone statues and flying birds horses. 7/10

Wasn't worth the extra $3 for 3D, trust me .
