Not to hijack this thread but.....

If someone uses the term turk or scot it is not considered to be a racial slur but if I was to use the word p*ki (probaly just a english thing, I dont know) it would be deemed racist. Are the names not both a shortening of their country of origin? (sorry for the off topic but I was having this discussion today and got called a racist )
