On the subject of books, try "Have Spaceship Will Travel", by Robert Heinlein.

Don't need to. I've got my towel.

It wasn't cynicism J2, it was the continued misuse of the word "treason," and the overuse of the word "McCarthyism." The 8 Mile reference just pushed it over.

Was a pretty good program on Richard I. Not really the hero he's made out to be. But he's loved for it, anyway.

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

My recommendations are not fiction/sci-fi, Billy.

Do you find me overly serious?

You would be wrong about that, too.

Just a little levity, j2, must have been that last joint, or too much caffeine in the coffee milk shake, perhaps. I shall try to stay straight next time I reply to you.

I don't remember much about the book, or any book I've read actually, but I do remember it made me laugh out loud.

Stranger in a Strange Land is still, in my opinion, one of the best works of fiction ever.
