    the best 'banner blocker' i've used is Ad Muncher (http://www.admuncher.com/) the only downside to ad-muncher is that it costs money. You can download the trial for 30 days but then you have to register it.

    You have posted this before, i had a bad experince with them. I cant get ad muncher enless i pay for it now.

    @Agent Smith: Yeh i know i'd posted it before but you asked for an Opera compatible one so I decided I'd post it again seeing this is a different post.

    I really want to start a project to make our own 'Ad Blocker' which naturally would be open-source and eventually bug-free

    If anyone at all out there is interested and willing to help PM me.

    What would you think of not a modified but very alike version of Ad Muncher like the project i want to start

    Sounds great, but not many people hear want to do anything enless there the ones who start it.
