anybody remember that old arcade game Synistar? I HATED that damn thing...always laughing at me when I'd get killed. Spent a lotta quarters on that one, trying to get even.
Spent a lot of nights playing Defender on the atari. Remember how the joysticks on those things would always break? Not as bad as on the 5200 but I had to go buy new ones about every 3-4 months.
I think it was "Snake" or "Pong" for the "Toshiba" home computer back around 1979/80 (not sure of the exact year as I was mega-young back then, 4/5 lol) (if memory serves me right asto the name of the game and machine) :-)
That's what got me addicted to computers :-)
Sniper.
Double Dragon on atari

lol yah, I know what you mean. Kinda like sitting around late at night talking about old 8 tracks, and the kids having NO clue what the heck you're talking about. Specially when the "kid" in reference is my youngest brother.Originally posted by SniperInTheShadows@14 November 2003 - 02:30

I remember most of the games that have been mentioned. How time flies, eh? A lot of those came and went, DECADES ago.![]()
*leaves the thread feeling old*
a late 1970s Pong machine, at home. it was like a game console, you played it on a TV set, but it didn't use cartridges-- it only played Pong.
it was sorta like this, but too long ago for me to remember exactly what it looked like.
lol, i guess this thread has separated the geezers from the boys.![]()
