I'm aware of that thread but it's irrelevant for the matter. You're promised an invite code to Waffles from TVControlsYou but the invites for Waffles have been disabled for a while, so you don't know if TVControlsYou will really send an invite or not.

Oh, the OP helped me a lot with this...he must have helped cabalo too... it's quite easy... go to their websites, download the last version of spotify, install it and open it... it will prompt for your username and password and if you type in, it will show you an error... ok...

google the internet for a proxy address of the country you used to register an account to spotify in the firs place (my case here was UK)... you should came out with some numbers like this: 111.222.333.444:55 (ip address and a port)... take note of this numbers and ok...

well, here comes the simple trick... turn off your internet connection (disable your ethernet card, unplug the cable, whatever you want), return to your spotify and type again your username and password... this time it won't find internet connection and will give you the option to change your internet settings in spotify... ok...

inside those options you just have to keep trying with the proxys you've found... maybe you'll won't get lucky in the first time like I did, but keep trying and you'll get it... ok...

when you access spotify, go to those same options and disable the proxy you entered because now you have more days to play with it without the proxy... don't forget you'll need more proxys soon to "renew" the trick

and that's it... this is too big, someone could simplify it down a bit I think
