What kind of power supply do you have and does it have the proper connectors for a higher end vid card?

A 9600 GT or GSO is a fairly poor choice when there are GT240s about, with similar performance or better, depending on which version you get, and no power connector required.
And then there are the 220s, if performance isn't that important. Not to mention the upcoming ATi 5670s on the other side of the fence.
All of it is in, or is slated for, about the same price range.
