    well ive been holding out on the upgrade, but after reading this ill go ahead and take the windows7 plunge.

    winxp for the win though win7 is nicer on the eyes

    i think you should try use win7
    it is easy to use but also there some software can not use in win7

    I would vote for win7. I use it for a month and everything is working fine. By the way, I did not do any update

    Why no updates ? That's how I usually check if I'm certified and you should really update the Security Patches at least .

    There were a couple this week .

    Since your requirements will work good with Win 7.. I think you should go with that.
