So, again why FTN?

sine i am not a member there, so i don't know the reality about which ftn offers to its members, all my knowledge about it comes from members and reviews, although some (really, few) said that it is overrated, but most information and discussions concentrate about being a wonderful great community to survive, for many people with much better experience than i have, ftn was rated as the best of their trackers.

Most of them were using SCT (at that time) for satisfying their needs regarding interested torrents, SCT was providing great pretimes and better speed than ftn, but they continue to recommend FTN as the best community (cultures meeting point).

As i wasn't a member in sct, so, only i was reading more and more, and trusted words written by the tracker members,and from that time i formed my imagination about FTN, (not sure how much that reflects the reality)

And as i was trying to make friends from all cultures and to understand others, FTN jumped rapidly to be my most wanted tracker, (although, i was also trying all the time to join SCT, but i never got that chance).

so, now, FTN is very interesting for me,

i did added ncore, because of different culture, and what i heard about the variety of content, and i didnt wait, i joined their irc, they have english room, and i was the first (from my country) to join ncore irc (that was according to ncore staff, they said that).

I said all the truth about all what i know about FTN and why i want to be there.

Seedboxes and megbuffers don't impress me.

it's so funny how people think they have to have a seedbox or LIE to get things here... it gets even funnier when I look back to when I asked for invites here with my lame internet connection, the one I still have

always got what I asked for, even made some friends among some discussions

well, I'm optimist so I do believe people will learn about that someday

...although we still see people requesting like this:

"ah, well... I like games so I was thinking that would be nice to be invited to BCG... and aaaaahhhhhh... ah, yes!, I do have a seedbox! thanks!"

I could be terrible wrong but I do strongly believe that FTN is all about something we call "status" and you help me stand with my opinion...

gosh NewMan, how do you need or want a tracker you don't even know its content? what if you get your invite, login and find out that there's nothing there that interests you?

what if all of this thing about FTN is a big joke?

there is something called reviews and members opinion, it is difficult to says that all these proud FTN members are wrong, there is no forums there, no people, and you will find yourself standing alone

I've also thought something like that .It's a good opportunity to make it known that you are interested in joining such and such tracker.
If you make some reasonable statement as to why you would be an asset there ( whether because of intelligence , personality ,dedication ,knowledge or in Martin's case reasons unknown ) then even if I'm unwilling or unable to grant your request at least you've put your foot forward and made a step in the ( hopefully) right direction
