I dont know if anyone has pointed this out, but you said "I know some trackers do not like their invites being given away on forums like this and I respect their rules, so if I accidentally include something of that nature, please point it out to me."

Out of those I am pretty sure that it is against their rules to make public give-aways at:
scc
waffles
bitmetv
HDBits (not sure, but not happening now)
and Bitme

A few more probably dont allow it but im not sure.

If you really dont want to break any rules, do your self a favor and read them ;-)

Hi, fsephie's idea seems like the best way to hand out invites. I have an assortment of invites that have been laying around.

I dont want to make a list, and get a bunch of "can I have plzzz" posts.

So in as many words as you think it takes to convey your message, tell me what you are interested in and why.

You must be a rule abiding member of the trackers you are a member of (that means no: traders, cheaters, those that give accounts away, and anything else I forgot)

To save some people some time I can tell you, I DO NOT have any invites to sct, ftn, fsc, ect, ect. Although I do still have quality invites.

I have no idea what invites I will give out if any, it depends on what type of posts I get.

Btw I'm not disagreeing with you I just want to show that no one begins with all knowledge and learning the proper way to do things is a process and not an endpoint.

Thanks a lot for the input and direction on the rules. Admittedly, the last time I read each tracker's autonomous rules was when I signed up there. I have removed the trackers that you pointed out and others which forbid the giving away of invites (as far as I could deduce from their rules). I understand that this severely reduces a lot of the attraction of my giveaway for many - which is understandable. Infinite apologies if I managed to get some of your hopes up. Although those more sought after invites were ephemera to the thread, I sincerely hope those who applied with honest intentions receive one some day from a good friend.

Something else I hope this thread has shown is that there are a lot of awesome people here, willing to help you keep your accounts whether it be by not breaking tracker rules or by spotting traders or just generally being a nice person.

This thread has also lead me to question whether giving an invite to someone with a ratio of 4 and 1TB uploaded is a better choice than giving it to someone who would maintain a 1.05 ratio and being eternally happy with the invite. Oh well.

So, I'll leave what's there up and hope someone wants something.

I don't believe that this is a publicly viewable or accessible forum and therefore, I don't see how those rules apply. If you really want to get dominated because the sites are not specific enough in their rules, by all means, make out a cognizable argument and I will gladly tear it apart.

I'm sure that if this forum were properly sucking up to the right people, we would see a lot of recruitment threads, as well as 3+ pages of HDBits requests so far, but I guess that's how it goes when you keep it old school.

lol idol. u dug deep and found my giveaway thread. That thread was a complete mess and a headache. I learned then that making a give-away is a pain in the ass if nothing else.

And yes, we all are/were noobs at one time. That is pretty much why I posted. He said for someone to let him know if it were against the rules... I was just doing that.

And dig all you want, you will NEVER find a post where I claim to spel gud or use proper grammar, on this site or anywhere.

@trollin thunder: I am pretty sure when staff say dont make give away on public forums... fst is included, and likely on the top of the list of sites they are/were thinking of.

Edit: Idol, I hadnt even noticed your un-giveaway you are making right now. Was the irony intended? Seems like more or less what I did 2 years ago when I was a noob (which you pointed out). Im not trying to be an ass, Im really curious.

Don't be fooled by overreacting members when they say they are "pretty sure".
I'm also pretty sure you're doing something out of generosity here, and with the right perception and tools, you can only succeed in bringing a smile at someone's face.
