are there actually any good ones out there?
Getting true 1Gbit/s upload speeds would require SSD's in raid i'd of thought...which would cost a bomb
am looking for something up to around $200 max, 500GB-1TB+ diskspace, unlimited bandwidth - no caps...am guessing the speed should potentially be around 35Mb/s on 7,200RPM drives in raid...
True Gbit requires as you say SSD in raid. But HW raid.

With software raid he got half that speed!
Not sure what's the max speed you can reach with normal 7200rpm disks.

Though now I'm seeing a 15/40 TB upload cap on their plans mid/high. Haven't seen any dedicated 1 Gbit/s servers with absolute unlimited upload, and I suspect ones that claim they are unlimited will enforce a cap after some massive uploads. Let me know what else you find I'd be interested.

I don't think you'll find any SSD with 500GB or more disk space, and certainly not unlimited 1Gbit for $200.
no shit, thats why i said i want 7,200 drives...i'd only be able to get ssd if its around 80gig
