well said, this is not like what happened with the Yankees several years ago, the fan did not reach over the wall. I mean hell, I would love to blame a fan for Tampa Bays 4 qtr implosion against the Colts on someone too.... but the only people responsible is what is supposed to be the #1 defense in football choking.
hmmmm who said tampa's defense is #1?

i think carolinas defense is on top plus theyve beat the bucs already this yearP

if fan interference is a problem then they need to make the fence higher.

im sure if this problem was serious enough the mlb association would do something to make sure it wouldnt happen again.

it isnt the fans fault !!!!!!!!

maybe if your shortstop had made the double play the 8 runs wouldn't have happened.

the 1 out if the foul ball had been caught out would not have made a difference.

Actually if you look at the image it obviously is. He even blocked the fielders mit. Although it's his fault I feel pretty bad for him, anyone else there would have gone for it as well, just look at all the people who were raising their arms for it, attempting to catch it. I can only see one person who was aware of what was going on. He has this look of horror on his face. (The guy to the left of the person the arrow is being pointed at)

You really can't blame the poor guy though, a ball is headed towards you you don't have a lot of time to analyze all possible outcomes and what would possibly go wrong. You react and put your hands attempting to catch it, it's just natural instinct. Besides the guy couldn't even see the fielder, he had his eyes glued on the ball the entire time.

Nobody else would have thought about looking and down and checking to see if all was well. He's just the unlucky person who it went closest to. Now he has to most likely move, change his name, and start over. Cub fans will never forget this.
