yep, it's nice because it's more of a "trick" but there's nothing new there to be called "GodMode" since it's just a bunch of shortcuts =|

I played with 7 beta and even installed an Ultimate version to test and I found Windows 7 lacking in many ways. Its as if MS in its infinite wisdom is slowly trying to ween us off a configurable and expandible OS and stick us with a controlled dependent one. I for one see the writing on the wall. If they're not willing to listen to the masses and create a better version of XP without all the drm crap and spyware and the abilty to integrate again, then soon we'll all be using linux or a MAC. The final release of Win7 lacks even the configurability of the beta. They actually closed many fixes customers wanted instead of enhancing them. Too controlling, they are going to cut off their nose to spite their face.

If XP2 isn't around the corner, MS is in trouble.

Isn't "ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C" the ID for Control Panel in Classic Mode?

not sure but that would explain why you don't even need to write "god mode" in the first place... I mean, you could create a folder with any name you want, while what really matters is that ID after the "dot".

Interesting trick but it could lead to easy hacking if the folder can be anywhere.

why do you say that? there's nothing new or special about it... the truth is that most of its options can be easily found inside the Control Painel
