Thread: how to setup a seedbox...?

  1. #1

    Question Mark

    Ladies en gentlement,

Right now i am a beginner.
    I recently bought a seedbox from seedbox.cc.
I have a Premium seedbox fast Gigabit: 200 GB storage, 1 Gbps network, 3 to 15 transfers at the same time.

I want to raise up my ratio and uploads to increase my downloadspeed.
But i have no idea how to setup my seedbox and to increase my downloadspeed.
I received a Username, password and a Server in an email.
I also want to know how to run it in uTorrent, bittorrent and other P2P programs.

Based on their website, its transmission they use - web interface. Unless they gave you ssh access to the server, you won't be able to install and setup utorrent, or any other p2p programs.

Transmission has a really nice remote GUI that someone wrote that I use on my Windows box: http://code.google.com/p/transmission-remote-dotnet/

There is a beta version out, but I haven't tried that one yet. But 3.12 runs really well for me under Vista.
