    I thought this would be a nice thread to start. what type of speakers do you have to watch movies and listen music from eg, home cinema or hifi

    Hafler M5's on a Hafler TA1600 amplifier.
    (actually they're studio-reference speakers, they have a very "straight" sound.

    And for Surround Syrincs M3-220, incl. Subwoofer.

    They are "leftovers" from my studio, you wouldn't believe the sound i get........

    i have a nice 2 channel stero sound coming from a pair of:
    Epos M12's excellent speakers!

    are they for the pc or home cinema listening?

    i ahve the creative 2.1 for my pc lol..pretty shite!

    cambridge audio a5 amp with eltax silverstone 200 speakers.

    dont have any surround sound setup i still think it is a bit overkill.

    i put it through my panasonic SC-ht80 it may be old but it gives 350w rms and some mad bass
