Free approach to snobby veteran members of the board

Just my opinion but if you create a thread to give newer members some sense of belonging and then fill it with "veterans " talking as old friends almost exclusively among themselves , mostly about past occurrences that only they are privy to, then the whole thing is self defeating.

Personally I'd make it a point to reply to whatever cmd writes even though it's boring as phuck.

No, really - if we invite them in and don't...what, scalp them, or whatever...and are instead accepting and effusive, we'll have ~~a crop of succulent noobs to consume at our leisure, as well as an inexhaustible supply of subjects for indoctrination~~, the ever-expanding international social interaction that has become our charter.
