update 1.02 exe then copy over that to the 1.01 exe?

update, what i am guessing its called, halo.exe to 1.02, then go to a site like megagames.com and get the 1.01 patch and apply it to the newly updated .exe.
I am guessing because this is how its done with every game, but I dunno exactly since I dont have Halo pc

but what hes saing doesn't make sense
you install a game and it has the orignal exe
replace the orginal exe with the cracked 1.02 exe
then replace the cracked 1.02 exe whit a cracked 1.01 exe
whats the point?
am I missing something
Noupdate the exe with the official 1.02 update from what i understand, then use the 1.01 crack.
yea but im pretty sure there is a 1.00 a 1.01 and a 1.02 cracked exe
