I have never banned a user and I probaly never will.
My reasoning is simple......I dont own the music(or what ever file)
I am sharing so I dont feel right making up rules and regulations
regarding files that are for sharing.

I ask users to not dl more than 3 albums at a time and I my wishes
are usualy respected.
The key is that I ask.......Not make demands.

I dont own the files I share.........none of us do.
So let the RIAA play the bad guys.....The rest of us should just
share what we got and spread the music.

A big part of the music i share i do own. + i put a lot of afford & time in ripping, tagging, renaming, [a lot manually] searching for covers and what not. So i kinda feel i can set some rules if i want to.

I'm not gonna make some-one [who does share a good collection] wait in line for "my" files because some crappy sharer is using my bandwidth!

If people don't like my "rules", fine, go somewhere else to get the album, I'm sure theres more people sharing it.

My SS "rules"

Max 2 cd's [a "2 cd" = 2 cd's!]

Not sharing = ban
Sharing incomplete albums = ban
Unorganized crap = ban
Sharing less then 10 complete albums = ban Sharing MP3 pro M4A and WMA = ban

Please share albums of the same bitrate and preferably the same encoder.

I put a lot of afford in organising, renaming and tagging my files, 99% of the albums are perfectly tagged [album-art included]

[the albums that show as 160 Kb [in the "ripped" folder] are actually VBR, SS doesnt recognize them, Encspot does]
