Car Thief Caught While Playing Grand Theft Auto

" Grand Theft Auto in real life meets Grand Theft Auto the video game.
Art imitating life, or life imitating art? Chicken or egg? Cause or correlation? The debate rages on, but in the meantime, we're amused by this latest crime story from the Associated Press.
Polk County, Fla. authorities tracking a stolen 1998 Dodge Durango found the SUV outside of 30-year-old Michael Ray Ekes' home on Thursday. When police busted inside Ekes' house, they found him playing – yes, you guessed it – Grand Theft Auto (sadly, the report failed to mention which game from the series or if any DLC was involved).
Ekes was charged with grand theft auto, burglary and drug possession. To add to that, Ekes was out of jail on bond for a previous grand theft auto charge. It seems that Ekes can't get enough of that GTA feeling. "
