drop to a command prompt on both machines and type ipconfig /all - this will tell u the ip address of each machine.
after that - r they at least on the same subnet? what is their DHCP servers IP?

yes i disabled wep in wireless network properties on both computers worked for a while then lost my connection then wep enabled its self so disabled again and rebooted but it keeps enabling again.if i disable and dont reboot it works fine for a while please help

it's kinda funny we're discussing this - i just setup a wireless LAN w/wireless printers and everthing this afternoon - so very cool!
but i still don't know what a "wep" is
